left front wheel squeaking/screeching?
Recently, my left front wheel (area) has been making a squeaking/screeching noise.
Anytime there's a weight transfer to the front of the car, such as under braking and/or turning right, the left front wheel makes a screeching/squeaking noise.
I already checked the lugnuts to make sure they're and really put a lot of force against the tire when the car was parked, and it didn't seem to wiggle around (wheel bearings ok?). Someone suggested a hung up brake pad. Anything suggestions as to what it could be?
I had my brake system checked not that long ago, and everything was far from replacing.
TIA.

Mine did exactly the same thing when my inside pad got low (appearently it ran out a little before the outside one). If it is the wheel bearings it would more than likely do it while driving straight as well, the old caliper style would anyway, since we have the new antilock brake style hub assembly now I really can't say for sure what symptoms it would exhibit but outside of those two things I can't imagine what else would cause a noise.
