Rear Wheel

Lloyd called me earlier and told me about it.... oh and the "this cam ain't gonna work" bs from the dyno guys BEFORE the dyno pulls. Guess he still doesn't think it's going to work.

GOOD NUMBERS!

I would like to know as well. I also wouldve thought the numbers wouldve been more space apart locked unlocked. Sweet numbers.

Re: Le2 Dyno Results

Some very bad *** #'s thru an A4 and stall. All of that with that small of a cam is amazing. TONS of TQ at every RPM and being on a 383, the peak HP #'s are in by 6100 RPM. I have not seen the graph yet but it is probably over 400 RWHP by 5300 RPM or maybe even sooner.

I am sure it is fun to drive with the TQ that this small cam makes.

Your 4400 LB weight is gonna definitey hurt track times but as long as you can get the car to hook and get a 1.6X 60 ft, you should be able to run an 11.70 at 115 MPH. Remember, this is a HEAVY Impala, not a 3400 lb F body.

Damn... I know this is confidential stuff but... can you PM me the info on the cam and head numbers? I'm a Lloyd Elliot customer, but i'm just very curious to see what kind of numbers my VR 383 LE3 puts out through a M6 and 10 bolt.

Re: Le2 Dyno Results

The cam is alot smaller than most run in their 350/355 much less a 383.The cam is smaller than a GM 847 and they are my LE2 heads (LT1 castings with 2.00/1.56 valves). I think they flowed about 275/195 at .600 lift.

Chris, your cam is about 8 degrees larger intake and exhaust. This Impy needs all the TQ it can get to get the thing moving. A lighter F body or Vette can use a larger cam and make more HP since these cars are easier to accelerate.
