LE2 383 1/4 times

mods are in the sig.

TEMP F= 71
HUMIDITY=40
BAROMETER=29.72

1.78 60FT
12.14 1/4
116.52 MPH

I noticed that up top, the ignition is breaking up. I could feel the car make a quick "jerk" like if it were to hit the rev limiter. I know its not knock, and its not the limiter. The opti is brand new, and so are the plugs and wires, and ICM. Does anyone know what I could check. Also, what do you guys think of the times.. This was on 315/35/17 nitto drag radials. The car was not hooking up too good. Car is full weight, minus the AC..

Nice times. Good to see another LE car running around the bay area. How do you get away with that in SF? I've been told the police inspect cars like crazy there. Not as bad in the east bay...yet.

I would like to remove my ac as well. And was wondering is there a dummy pulley to take the place of the ac on the acc bracket?

Get the miss fixed and you should be well into the 11's. I trap 114-115 with 366rwhp in my full weight car so you have alot of potential left when you get the miss fixed.

Who did the tuning?
Did the miss show up on the dyno?

rocker adjustment, coil, fuel pump, plug gap (too wide), etc can cause this.

Like Shon asked, was the problem there on the dyno? A data log while going down track might shed more light.

Yes, there is something called an A/C delete pulley that is a bracket with a dead pulley on it that takes the place of the A/C compressor. They usually run around 40-50 bucks.

You might wanna data log it during the run... just because it doesn't do something else on the street or dyno doesn't mean it's not doing it on the track. You can always try rasing the rev limiter to see if that's the problem or not, i've taken cars that don't touch the limiter on the street to the track and they bang it hard at the track.... different worlds.

as for the rocker adjustment, I just did that perhaps 500 miles ago. The coil is brand new. As for fuel pump, its a stocker with 50k on it. The miss, DID show up on the dyno. I have the dyno sheet, where the ignition cuts off, and cuts back on. As for the plug gap, I forgot what I set them at, but I set them to whatever Lloyd told me. I and a fellow shop tuned the car. I did not locktite the rotor screws in the opti. How should I go about tracing down this mis? Thanks Guys!

Might be a deal with the wires like Lloyd had.

Get some 15" rims and DR's@18-20psi,it will hook. If it's in the weeds get it UP.
That car should be deep into the 11's@3600lbs with the stuff that's in it.
Keep working ya will get there.
