knock sensor in 93 camaro vs. 94

Hi guys,

I'm doing a swap from 93 to 94 PCM/wiring on my 93 camaro. I was wondering if the knock sensor in my 93 block is the same used in a 94/95. Or will I have to swap it?

Conversely, if i were to swap my 93 to a 96 wiring harness, could I use one of my B-body knock sensors (i had 2 of them off an engine that cracked its block), on my Fbody?

Also as for the knock module -- i've read differing things on using a stock F-body module vs. an LT4.... should I keep hunting for a reasonably priced LT4 module, or just go with the Fbody one?

thanks!

Tyler

The knock sensor are the same from 93-95. 96-97 have a different knock sensor.

Do you know why the Fbody used 1 knock sensor, and the B body used 2?
