I just plugged in a laptop and went on the street. I found i have upwards of around 6.5 degrees of knock retart. Now, my traction control was on, which increases it a few degrees i hear, but still, thats a hell of a lot. What can i do to lower this?

 

LT4 knock module will help out...you can also get your computer reprogrammed....check out Madz28.com and shoot Ion an email if you are going with the computer reprogram...but definately get the LT4 KM...

If it's FALSE knock from header's or valve train or exhaust leak you can do a search on the board and get the resistor number and go to Radio Shack,get one for a few bucks and wire it in line with the KR sending unit and do away with the retard the computer is doing.That will save you the money for a LT-4 module which doesn't work all the time and you still have to do the resistor.
