LT1 Based Engine Tech 1993-1997 LT1/LT4 Engine Related

Kinda skeptical about getting a torque converter...

keep in mind, I want my car to be as streetable as possible and get decent fuel economy.

My car was a daily driver until April of this past year. It is extremely streetable and I still get around 260miles to a tank when I do take the car out now, unless I am heavily abusing it.

Dude you've got OBDII, definately get a 3200! You'll thank us later. It's very streetable. You'll barely notice it after a couple of weeks. And you won't have to deal with the shifting issues that us OBDI guys have to.

what shifting issues? i never had any shifting issues with my stall... and i have an obd 1 don't i?

OBD1 cars with large stalls that hook 1.6 60' tend to have problems with hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift.

With your 2400 stall, you won't have any issues.
