keyless entry question

Hey everyone..
My keyless entry doesnt work, they key fob signal isnt being recieved im about 95% sure... the impact sensor and the others are working, if i just lock the doors with the lock button then shut the door, the alarm arms but i cant turn it off until i start the car, its just weird... Is there an actual alarm reciever or something that seems like the culprit or...? thanks for any advice.

It might help for folks to know what year and model car you have.

Ok, try this. Take out your RADIO fuse, blue 15, turn the key foreward about 3 times withOUT turning on the car, all the locks/hatch should unlock. After that stand next to your car and hold the lock and unlock buttons for around 10 seconds or so. The horn should honk. If not, replace the battery in the keyless remote majigger, if THAT doesn't work, get a new one

Hope that works!

You may have to get them re-programmed at the dealer, sometimes when the battery goes dead in the transmitter it will re-set the code. Just a suggestion.
