K&n long filter part number?

K&n long filter part number?

I did a search and could not find it. I use the k&N filters, but there is two i know you can use. I use the normal one 2002( i think) what is the bigger one? thanks

ok I assume your talking about oil filters......if you are then the bigger k&n oil filter is hp3002.

Yea I was thanks. So do a lot of peaple use the 3002 instead of the 2002, what was the 3002 really made or its just a optional filter for the lt1. thanks

Looks like the only difference is the height and volume of the filter and box. Chevrolet has always had larger (taller/more volume) filters since they started installing smaller filters at the factory. I believe FRAM and the other manufacturers make one larger than the 3002. These were listed for industrial engines.
