Just started running rich.

Well I just got my car running. It was down for about a 1 1/2 yrs now. We changed out the rearend today. It seems to be running really rich and kind of misfires. My friend said he couldn't breathe behind the car. This wasn't the issue before the rear end went out on me. I'm thinking its the old fuel thats still in there. I have not put any fuel in it yet.

Yeah i know a datalog would help. Can anyone tell me what the name of that software was and where i can get it? I have the data cable.

Sticking fuel injectors is a possibility. I just went through that with my car.

So probably just need to put a fuel injector cleaner in it. I'm going to do a datalog on it tomorrow hopefully find some answers there.

Very possibly could be the old fuel.Fuel without stabilizer typically goes stale after about 6 months resulting in stumbling or hard starting. Are you getting black smoke out the pipes?

If it's stuck injectors and not bad fuel, it may take more than pouring some injector cleaner in the tank.

Yep. My car sat for 2.5 years and when I put the new motor in it, only one injector was fueling on the driver's side.

I didn't even check the other side.

So did you just let the fuel run out or what did you do to fix it? If it is stuck injectors do i have to pull them and get them cleaned?
