That center fulcrum bearing you were talking about, there is a flat side and then there is a rounded side, I have the rounded side facing the stud on the head and the flat side is where the bolt goes on. I tightend them according to the Haynes Repair Manual that i have. I am not sure if these are self aligning or not. It didnt say in the catalog and my gf ordered them so i didnt get e chance to ask the sales rep. How tight should these be exactly. Should i be able to move the rocker from side to side pretty easy or should i have to give it a bit of force, if i give it enough force then i can push the roller off the top of the spring, does that mean that it will pull off when the car is running?? I can give you the part number and stuff you want to look at the roller rockers on Summit Racing. Please write back asap as i want to get my car going over x-mas break.

Give the make and part number or a summit link so we can see what you have exactly...
'Self aligning' doesn't need guide plates [under the rocker stud]
they also have like little'washers' on each side of the roller for the valve stem..[that's what keeps the rocker on the valve]

'Non self aligning' doesn't have the 'aligners' and also you would need guideplates...[and hardened pushrods, too]

Not sure how the Haynes manual says to adjust the valves, but you DO need to adjust the valves[ NOT 'just tighten them down']
Doing one at a time, I would say that you could adjust it with the car running as opposed to statically...
Most likely the flat side goes up, but I am not positive.. [I have Crane Golds..]

OK here is the link to the Summit Racing page. It says will not fit center bolt valve covers, does this mean that i cant use them now??? Also they do have to have guide plates, so i need hardened pushrods, my friend said that the 95 LT1's came with hardended push-rods, is this true????

If you have this "dimple" on your stock pushrods then they are hardend.
