did you make any DragStrip runs yet ??

No I haven't been to the strip yet. I am currently dealing with an ignition prob somewhere. So far I have replaced my coil, MSD 6AL, Opti, Opti wiring harness. And after all that money, I think I have it narrowed down to the PCM. Whenever I sent my computer to have it programmed for the 396, I wrapped the connectors on the harness in a plastic bag and closed the hood. Well, I guess some moisture had collected on the connectors, because whenever I pulled my computer off again I noticed that two pins had broken off the PCM inside the connectors. So I am now desperately searching for a pcm and harness. So far no luck. I have to do something soon because I have a dyno tune appt. at Thunder next Sat. Does anybody know how much Jason Cromer charges for the pcm and harness?

 

Sorry to barge in but where did you get those valve covers, they look great. Do they clear the alternator? That motor is a thing of beauty.

 

Thanks. Yes, they clear the alternator. The passenger side one has a notch cut into it. They did have to have some material removed from the inside to clear the Pro Mags though. I bought them off of ebay, there should be some more on there, just do a search.
