I believe it is a Mass Air flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem. Not for sure at the moment though.

yup, clean your maf, check your tps and clean your filter. thats where i would start.

when did the problem code start?

If your screen is in, there could be debri or leaves or something blocking the screen so not enough air is going through the MAF. Your filter could be dirty so not enough air. Just try to clean out your whole intake system and see if that fixes the problem.

Re: just came from autozone got code p0101??

The PCM checks the air mass flow reading from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor against the same value calculated from the speed-density readings (IAT, MAP, RPM, VE). If there is a serious mismatch between the two readings (>40% at low flow, >25% at hight flow) the PCM sets the code. This code will not set if there is a DTC for MAP or TPS, so that sort of rules those out as secondary causes.

Most likely, the flow numbers from the MAF sensor are incorrect... dirt on the sensor wires would explain it. Blocked air flow would not be a likely cause, unless it causes a major maldistribution of air flow velocity across the face of the meter, resulting in incorrect flow readings.
