I just bought a 95 z28 with 74k on it. runs good, but b4 i install it in my v6 car for my swap what should i check and go thru.

i plan to replace all gaskets and repair the dreaded intake leak. but what else?

any easy ways to check the crankshaft bearings, valves, etc

should i replace the timing chain?

thanks

If its only got 74k I wouldn't worry much about the bearings. If I were you I'd look into swapping in a cam/springs while the motors out and the intakes off. It'll be worth it.. Trust me

I forgot to mention the motor does have a cam in it, but the info on it is lost. i have no idea what kind of cam or what mileage it was installed at.

i am gonna run my nitrous setup to. i'm not sure what to do here about this cam.
