Jet-Hot slip fit Leak

Please excuse me for making the post yes i do know how to use the search function

alot of people bought some jet-hots lately,
i got tthem installed no problem but i do beileve its the slip fit tube leaking
i hear a very constant tick speeds up with rpm slows down at lower rpm, pluis when im running down the road much past like 2k rpm you can actually hear a extremly loud popping sound.
is this the symptoms you guys had or different?

Also i have one of two options a muffler shop in town will make me a Y for 175 or i could buy one off the net what you guys recommend

thanks for reading my post im sure the information will help more then just me.

I smeared hot permatex on the inner pipe before I installed it and used a tclamp. I know summit sells the clamps. it fits 1 3/4" tube. it gets very tight w/out crimping the pipe at all. no leaks yet, but havent put many mi.s on it at all yet.
jb weld might work, but if it does work, it may not come apart again. not good if you plan on removing it ever.
