I'm pretty sure if they rust you can pull them off and coat them yourself with a stainless steel coating?

 

Ceramic coatings are really meant for heat retention, and not for rust resistance. I don't think I have ever seen a ceramic coating company that guarantees against rust resistance.

 

...Wow, they don't look to good at all. In fact, I have an '84 Camaro that I installed headers {uncoated} on in 1990. I drove it until around '94 when it blew up and its been sitting ever since. And for 5 of those years it was buried in the dirt in my back yard. I just recently took the headers off and sure they are rusted worse than yours. But not by much!!! Bill....

 

wow...i dont think i've seen something like that before....were they coated? I know the coating doesnt matter, but daumn son! I dont even have coated headers, just wrapped for the past 2 years and they arent even beginning to rust.

 

My Jet hot Lt rusted after one year, but I think it was from not taking car of them and to auto matic car wash spraying water on them. I just took them off and sent them back, I had them back a week later. sand blasted and recoated. They have a three year warranty on the coating.

 

My hooker LT's dont even look that bad..... theyre not the coated ones either....
