Wiring harness question

Would GM Dealerships have or be able to get a engine wiring harness for my 93 LT1? I called painless wiring, but they only have them for stand alone systems, not for our factory computer. My other harness has wires spliced in everywhere, and electrical tape all over it, and I think it is why the car won't run worth a sh*t.

Re: Wiring harness question

Yes GM should have a wiring harness for your car but you'll pay a steep price for it. I'd try a savlage yard and see what you can get there. Just because a cars been wrecked doesn't mean the harness would be messed up. Besides must yards will even give you a warrenty.

The dealer charges big bucks for them, I looked into it last year. They were in the $700 range if I remember right. You can get a good used one for about $125. Try here. http://www.car-part.com/

OK, I have one, only thing is, its out a A4 car, not an M6

Its intact, I will install a new VSS connector (got caught on the shifter cable during removal, opps), if you want it, PM me with a offer

Re: Wiring harness question

what would need to be changed to make it compatible with a m6.
Is the harness for speeddensity?
