Question Jet Hot LT's + Dual Cats

Hey guys, im fairly new to the board ive been reading here for about 4months now and just recently started posting some.

Ok like the post says i just ordered Jet Hot LT's for my 97 Z28, im pretty sure im gonna need to put two cats on. (gonna talk to our inspector tomorrow and see if he will let me get by w/o cats or not) Now ive done a few searches and came up with pages and pages of info, and cant really find my answers. What i need to know is, does anyone make a Y-pipe with cats already on it that will bolt up to my LT's? Ive also seen a few pics of ppl putting cats directly on the LT's then building the y-pipe off of that. And for the rear O2's ive read conflicting posts about using O2 sims or just extending them..Any help would be appreciated. Thx guys. Tyler

Ive heard Mufflex makes a dual cat y-pipe but i cant even find Mufflex on the web, anyone have the link? Where are you planning on installing your cats? I asked Chris from Jet Hot if cats can be fitted on the hooker y-pipe and he said probably not. I would love some pics after you got yours done. Thx Tyler

no, i dont believe anyone makes a catted y-pipe. I had one made by a local exhaust shop. Look on ebay for cats, you can get a 2 car-sound cats for like 82 and change...

As for your O2 sensor concerns...you will need 2 O2 extenters to reach the new loactions of your sensors on the long tubes' collectors. You will also need 2 O2 sims to go in place of your post-cat sensors.

Dave, Do you have any pics? Did you have the rear O2's deleted out, or use sims?
