Jet Hot LT question

I just got my jet hot LT's in and I had a question about the #1 primary. How do you get it in the rest of the headder. And when you install it, do you have to weld it or is it just a friction fit? I've thought about putting it in the freezer to shrink the tube down. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I sanded the bottom of the slip in primary slightly by hand so it would slip into the tube. No leaks. Just slide the primary in and go.

I simply put a towel over the tube then I got out my BFH and pounded it in.
Good thing I have alot of sexual frustration.

Man, I dont think I would be admitted that kind of stuff ^. I'll have to call you up to help me if my headers need "worked" if sexual frustration is what it takes.

Mine went it without any sexual frustration. [Butt-Head]He said: Went in....[/Butt-Head]

I just sanded it very lightly with some fine sand paper and then hammered it in with a rubber mallett.

Mine went in without any problems or modifying, and as far as I know, don't leak still, several months later.

My coating was pretty thick on mine. Sanded down and it fit fine, but does leak a little. I need a 3/4 inch clamp to seal that puppy.

Mine went in with an uncontolable force that I call MUSCLE!

BTW, I don't think you need to put a freezer. Doubt it would have any effect at all.

I guess I need to get me one of those MUSCLE things. Can you get them at Autozone?
