I've been reading that a lot of Pacesetter LT guys have y pipe problems......

Not a single fit issue here either. I did the headers, y-pipe, poly motor mounts and a poly tranny mount all at the same time. I could not be happier with how well everything fit together.

No problems here as far as hitting the floorboard. Although I did have some leaks at the collector/y-pipe connections but I fixed that by welding up the driver's side and installing a ball flange on the pass. side. I would've done a ball flange at the driver's side as well but it wouldn't fit with that stupid hump there. I definitely would've had some banging issues if I had done that. I couldn't be happier with the way it came out though, sounds awesome with my magnaflow.

Mine is fine at idle and normal driving and even harder shift, but if I am flying at WOT and am really banging through the gears it does hit the floor.

mine used to be real bad at first. It would bang at idle, WOT, anywhere. I took some jack thing my dad had and put it between the y-pipe and floor brace and bent the header down. It didn't even dent the floor or pipe! Now I only get a little bang bang when I get on it really hard.

Mine only hit when I'm at WOT. I just deal with it. It's really not that bad. I'm hoping that SFC's fix that problem. Or that's what I'm going to tell my wife.
