intakes

This may seem like a question that should be posted on a honda civic message board but....
I'm trying to decide on an intake. Last time I went with moroso and i liked it but I'm leaning more towards SLP, mainly because of looks. Bit it's more expensive. and I can't tell if those filters are reusable or not.

What do you guys think?

I can't believe I just asked that

what, camaro like intakes too ya know

i point you to this thread

and the slp looks the best to me, and the filters are equivalent to K&N's filters, can use the k&n recharging kit to clean them.

If you're going for looks, SLP is the way to go. The moroso is a bit bland but I'm not about to shell out a few hundred to replace a CAI I got for free (practically). I don't know of a CAI that doesn't come with a reusable filter though, would be kinda stupid if it didn't (seeing that it was probably the most expensive part of CAI, no way I would pay $200 for a fricken tube with a paper filter).

I have the SLP and yes the filters are reusable K&N filters. I think it looks the best of all the other CAI's I've seen. It is a bit of a pita to remove and clean the filters though and getting them back on those tubes.

I also have the SLP CAI. I went with it because to me it looked the best.

That post is pretty informative! I have a Lingenfelter and I like it. Just black plastic like the K&N and it comes with a K&N filter but its $40 cheaper. I bought mine from www.lingenfelter.com for $159.
