The English language is becoming a "lost art".......

I give up.

Well I apologize for my improper use of the English language according to some. All I wanted was some answers to a few simple questions about an intake swap. I wasn't aware that my use of the language was going to be questioned.

I now realize that there is an inlet and outlet on the throttle body. When I took a quick glimpse at it the other night it was getting dark and I was tired. I only seen the one hose to the front of the throttle body. I was unaware of the second one that runs down the side of the intake. So I do understand what everyone means by "bypass" the throttle body.

As far as any issues with the TB bypass, Ive drove mine in single digit temps and it has been just fine.

Alot of fuss man truthfully you already have the intake manifold i havent read all of the blogs but if you have the lt1 air gap then you know the intake openings come bored out to 52mm so you wont need a bigger throttle body then that with that intake and if you have the lt4 then you probably know that its bored out to accept 58 mm throttle bodies and either way if your mostly stock then 52mm throttle body will be perfect for your car. You can even go to a shop and have your factory throttle body bored out to 52mm it would cost less. Besides if you already have the intake it wont hurt to pick up another six horses or so at 5200 rpm its not a huge increase but it will help power a little. Good luck bud

I was wondering about the throttle body. I understand that the purpose of running coolant threw the TB is to keep it from freezing. Does anyone just bypass this on their cars? Or is there another reason for the coolant to flow threw it?
I haven't tried to bypass this but because of your idea, I want to try it. Thanks for posting it.
