Intake pic request...

I'm working on piecing my intake manifold back together and I was hoping maybe some of you had pics of yours or have found good pics that show which lines go where.

Also, I'm deleting the EGR and everything that goes with it. The only problem is that I'm not sure what exactly needs plugged up on the intake since I don't remember how everything went. I can just completely remove the solenoid on the drivers side correct?

Scratch the pic request. I'm managing to piece thing together from different pics on shoeboxes site. Thank GOD for shoebox.

The EGR question still stands though... I want to get rid of the solenoid completely but I don't know what holes need plugged up at this point.

If you remove the EGR solenoid, all you need to do is plug the nipple on the intake manifold where the vacuum line to the solenoid connects. Use a vacuum cap. You will get a code for the missing solenoid, unless you push a resistor into the harness, or have it programmed out of the PCM. Then there's the code for the non-functioning EGR valve.

To remove the EGR valve, you need a cover plate for the hole where the valve goes. You don't absolutely have to plug up the hole for the riser pipe, but I would. check out www.sjmmanufacturing.com for the cover plates.

I have all the block off plates installed already. I'm having the EGR tuned out, so I don't need to worry about any codes. I have vaccum caps ready, I just don't know what hole on the intake is for the EGR line. I know it is driver side, but which one? I can't seem to find a pic clear enough or at the right angle to get a good view.

It was a question out of mere curiosity and am wondering why you suggest it being done. Any problems with that?
