intake elbow screwed up

What kind of performance loss could i expect from a messed up intake elbow? Mine is pretty messed up (holes, gashes, and being held together with some duct tape) near the throttle body and i was wondering if this could cause some performance loss?

If there are no holes or slits that are allowing unfiltered air into the intake. Then performace loss will be very very minimal. It just wouldn't be very pleasing to the eye.

Uh......holes you say......you need a new one. Might as well get the 1le without the resonator tube while our there. It's like 65bones.

Some black silicone would be a cheap alternative. Better then tape.
