Intake delemma
Intake delemma
I just picked up an TPI 350 today for a great price. I want to switch the intakes to either an LT1 intake or a stealthram. I'm leaning towards the LT1 because of price and the fact that putting corvette fuelrail covers in my 3rd gen would look awesome. However with a few people telling me that they worry about the reliability of the LT1 for long trips I'm taking second looks at the stealth. Does anyone know if the LT1 fuelrail covers would fit the stealth (I've never actually seen them in person, just pictures) and if not, is there anything similar that would give my engine the same look? As goofy as it may sound, whether they fit would probably make my decision. Thanks in advance.
Will an LT1 intake go on a TPI??? I was under the impression that they are different.
Is the TPI like a normal older style Chevy small block where the coolant crosses over through the intake from head to head?? I know LT1 intakes do not have coolant cross over it and that is why I think they are not compatable.
Just my $0.02
