has anyone heard anything good or bad about the new edelbrock air gap antake manifold for lt1's? I didnt even know about it until last night.

It's been in the Edelbrock catalog for about 8 months now, but it does not exist - at least no "for sale". They appear to still be working on it. A "search" will turn up several threads, including updates on the outlook for production. Edelbrock announced their first LT1 intake manifold in 1995. It was in the catalog, it was on display at NHRA "midway" displays, but they never even bothered to try and sell a single one, because it had absolutely no advantage over the stock manifold.

 

huh never knew that. i wonder how this will turn out. Hopefully good the more intake options the better...

 

I thought there were pictures on the board of one, as if they were just a couple months from production.
