Also remember to have some peroxide and bandages/band-aids handy, as you will turn your hands into cottage cheese.
It isn't really too bad, but you will be doing some cussing and banging up your hands because no matter what the manufacturer says, they never just bolt straight up. You WILL have to make them fit, this goes for almost any brand. My RK sport shorties were a pain, I actually had to unbolt my motor mounts and slightly lift the engine just to get the passenger side header in, my driver side took only a few minutes, but I had to remove the steering column to get it in. You will need to remove the intake elbow, alternator, emissions crap on the stock manifolds, oil dipstick tube, and anything else in the way, depending on the headers you choose. Doing the headers, y-pipe, and off road pipe by myslef in the driveway, it took a good day to install them, just because of the passenger side being so difficult. Plus I did my plugs and wires at the same time because it is usually a nightmare with all that stuff installed. Hope I didn't scare you too bad, but it is well worth the pain in my opinion, you will get good gains out of most headers.

few tips:
1. PB Blaster is your friend. I broke NONE of the header bolts because of this stuff..the Y-pipe bolts are a different story. If you can, soak them the night before you start to let them break up a bit. I did this then drove 100 miles, and it stunk the whole way so I wouldn't really suggest that
2. I have SLP shorties and everyone was telling me how bad the #5 primary would burn the wires...I used Bosch platinum plugs which are very short, and no problems on ANY of them
3. if your doing OVC wires (which I strongly suggest) get the kit from www.thunderracing.com and buy a nice mixed bag of wire ties to get everything out of the way. Use lots of patience here as this is a bad thing to half-*** do (the wires are $15 a piece when you have to replace them cause you set it right up against the power steering pulley or something)
4. expect to go to an exhaust shop to have the cat welded to the Y-pipe, so plan ahead and don't end up having to find a shop on a SUnday or something...
5. have a friend helping... MUCH easier!! There's stuff I would not have been able to do without a friend helping.
6. get some PB Blaster (did I mention this?)
