installing CSR pump, what to do?

it seems like my new CSR pump is not mating correctly to the housing, it seems as though its rubbing on the inside of the housing, why? should i drind away some of the material? i already did the ears but dont see anything about this? should i grind the fins a bit or the inside of the hoyusing, and repeat i did the ears

Did you replace your electric CSR with a new CSR? Anyways if I understand correctly, the new pump hits on the factory housing? I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do some clearancing inside the factory housing. I'd get some more opinions though?

no i am converting from stock to CSR, yes the fins hit the inside of the housing, i dont know if that needs to be smooth to circulate water or if i can just grind the blades a teeny bit

Me and my buddy have one and we didnt have any issues inside the water pump, You did take the bearing out on the inside Right? That is all i can think of.
Take a look at kens page and make sure you did everything for csrs directions suck.
