Install Cam while I have intake and opti off?

Well I gotta fix my intake manifold leak, and put on a new opti. I have an LT4 hotcam with some 1.6 roller tip rockers under my bed....Estimated, how much longer do you guys think it would take for me to install the cam and RR's. I heard the rear rockers can be a royal pain trying to get the springs out.

The reason im asking is that Im just fixing my car up to sell it...need money to move out. That why I think I should just fix what I need to, and sell the cam seperately. But if its not too big of a hassle, I would love to get the cam in there.

Whatcha think?

The timing cover is a bitch b/c it shares a gasket with the oil pan. If your getting rid of the car fix what needs to be fixed and be done with it. Should be easy to sell that hotcam kit, I doubt you would get much more for the car if it was in there anyway.

If you are just going to sell, don't bother with the cam. MHO. Sell the cam with the car if you want (just not installed).

If you are selling it, just make it run and sell that stuff seperately. That's what I would do.

Button the engine up with the aboslute minimium work and then sell
the parts separately.

I agree with these guys. Its way too much work to do it just to turn around and sell again. Sell the kit separately.
