INJ big enogh for NOS????
INJ big enogh for NOS????
Ok been out of the game for awhile. just pulled the cover of the car and blowed the dust off. I'm thinking of playing around with my NOS but not sure if my INJ are big enough. The last data log I had the inj duty cycle was hitting 73. So can i shoot say 125 shot to it or 50 any opinions. I will start out low at 50 and go up but have heared some people talk about locking up inj so should i just go get a new setof inj?

I would go with a wet shot and then your injectors wont need upgraded nor your tune changed. I ran 125 without retarding the timing but a 100 is safer and 75 even better yet with no retard. Keep in mind if your going to run a nitrous plug or not too. With the wet shot its not a big deal to swap in bigger jets for special occations but I cant say with a dry shot.

Re: INJ big enogh for NOS????
Thanks for the reply but I already have the dry set up on the car and yes i will change plugs. But I just wanted to know if my duty cycle is getting to close to the limit with my current setup. The NOS was ran on the old engine but not my new one.
Re: INJ big enogh for NOS????
Are you running the NOS 5176 LT1 dry kit? If so, that system boosts the fuel pressure when you spray, to increase the flow capacity of the injectors. If not, what dry system are you running?
