after correcting the firing order my car ran fine but the engine was wobbling from side to side bad until it warmed up. and it would almost die and then it would throttle back up and run fine for a couple of minutes to 10 or 15 minutes. anyone have any ideas? its a 96 engine and exhaust with 95 pcm and harness. no mods.

 

Sounds like it might be something in the opti spark, check all the vaccum lines going to it and the sensor plugs. Check out shoeboxes website should help ya out

Running rich can kill O2s and will definitely plug a cat.

 

how long did you have a misfire, if it was over a long period of time, it is most likely a plugged cat problem. i had the same problem when i had two wires crossed. if that doesn't work...check egr.
