Improved TB Bypass Q-> Removing hoses too?
Improved TB Bypass Q-> Removing hoses too?
EDIT: I just realised the steam pipe on the rh side comes from the rear of the heads.. :/
I've had the TB bypass done on my 95 for several years now. I just had an idea after reading the other post regarding the fella who was having a leaking bypass hose....
The left pipe comes from the radiator, the right comes from.. (?) im not sure whre but I'm guessing the water pump? I haven't checked this but, here's my question...
Would it be possible to remove that hose all together and plug both sides? One on the radiator (LH side of the TB) and one on the Water pump (Right hand side hose)?
Might be a few lbs of hose/coolant saved
And if the water pump allows for this, may improve flow for the rest of the system... I guess this really depends on my assumption that the feed side "can" be easily plugged... without any major problems...
