important exhuast question..
I just got new mufflers for my car to give it a tone cause i didnt like the sound of the bullets.. its part 17218 ultra-flo welded.. dynomax, droped the car off at the shop yesterday and today they called me up and said they woudlnt fit because theyre too wide?!.. anyone got any ideas on how to make em fit??
Re: important exhuast question..
Without knowing the complete details of your "true duals", how the pipes are run, the sizes, where the muffler(s) are located, etc, I would think it would be almost impossible for anyone other than the muffler shop to figure out how to make them fit.
Re: important exhuast question..
they coudlnt figure out a way to do it at all, but i forgot about pics. theres pics in my sig on the first page of how the duals are run, and i gave the muffler part number so you could get its dimensions
. which were 14x9 1/2x 4 1/2 or somethin similar. anyway they wont work so im getting number 17230 ultra-flos which are just a fully round muffler that is 6" it should fit, checked the dimensions of the small holes between the "gastank?" and the sides of the car. if it doesnt i guess ill go to a single chamber flowmaster
