So what does that leave me with I don't see how it's the opti since iv had 2 and it has the same problem

Assuming for the moment it truly does NOT have spark to those 2 cylinders. You need to monitor the IC signal from the PCM to the ICM to see if it's dropping out. Need a scope to do it.

An old style scan using an ocilliscope can ID the 95Z problem

IMHO ~I feel it is still the opti again and the knowledge that you just replaced it & the difficulty of redoing it keeps contributes to your reluctance to agree. If you truely got the GM unit - it makes no sense. There are many imitators because of GM's high pricing. Without on the spot observation you may wish to scan it at an old AUTO ELECTRIC since 95's did not have OBII ~ costs about $85.00

Ok well I will see if I can rent an oscope from some where and if I get a good signal then Ill look into getting that scanner thanks for the help
