ok i'm new to this website so i'd like to say hi to everyone...hi...anyway. The other day my car started to stumble when i turned it on i had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running then when i let off it would fall a little under idle then would die if i didn't put my foot on the gas pedal. I can cruise in it fine but when its running at a low speed it starts to stumble and my battery gauge starts to fall into the red i guess thats cause the cars dying...but on two occasions i have turned the car off and all of the power went off no lights radio went off and i turned the car back on and it would stumble but then i could turn it off and the lights and radio would work and the first time it did that the radio lost all its settings...if anyone knows anything please help!!!!! one more thing i have been hearing a aluminum sound for like a month it sounds like a coke can bouncing up and hitting my car and then it stops but it does it when i slow down quicker than normal or have it wot but doesn't always do it. its a very random sound and it is a noticable sound when you hear it....on a happier note i was going to get my car repainted at my shop next week......but i guess not

yes but its been on every since ive taken off my cats it was from my o2 sensors of course but i dont know what it could be that would reset my radio and all the power turn off on my car when i turned it off but it still be able to start right back up?

Check the SES light, since the there could be another code in there besides the missing cats. Have you checked all your battery connections, good and tight with little to no corrossion? Alternator connections good? Fuses?

i went to advance and got my alternator and battery check and they both showed that they were good but i should have got my ses light checked it just never crossed my mind....but i just started my car and it wanted to die but i kept the rpms up and slowly lowered the rpm and it ran down to 600 rpm and then i got it back up to 800 and its staying there and i have it running and its fine but when i turned the car off all the lights went off and the door lights wouldn't light up when i opened the car door and when i put it in gear it still wants to stumble i haven't checked the fuses

get that SES checked again and see if it sheds some light.
