hey im new to the board and i think you guys might know whats goin on...i was on the highway the other night and ended up breaking my rearend...i put the rear back together and took the car out to see if the rear wines or not....well i get on the car and it has a loss of power and alot of popping in high rpms....i go to put it on the auto tap and at first when i was crusing it said miss in cylinder 2 ad 7..i put the car in 6th at about 30 mphs and every cylinder was missing......so i change the sparkplugs today and now its popping at low rpms and the car idles rough....do you guys think maybe its the pushrods or what...thanks

juss drove it again and it backfired a couple of times juss while cruiseing through the gears....lemm know what yall think.....

 

I was missing in a couple of cylinders and my idle was terribly rough. i found out from my mechanic i had floated 2 valves. how did you break the rearend? was it in a downshift? thats how i floated the valves, the rearend held up fine.

iwas in first gear i took off racing on the third honk and kaaaaaabooooooom....i found the prob..so hopefully it will be fixed soon...
