IAT location

i was inatalling my CAI and found that my IAT sensor was relocated by the last owner and i cant find the thing. it wasnt put where you would normaly relocate it to (near the air filter), so i cant find the freakin thing now.

so my question is where does the IAT sensor wiring originate? if i knew this i could simply fallow the wires to the sensor itself. any help is appreciated

Look here and scroll down to the close up shots of the intake elbow... You will see where I spliced into the wire and see the red/black wires going over the waterpump.. Those are for my relocated IAT sensor, that is sitting in my filter below my fender...

Re: IAT location

It easy enough to check it out. Hook an ohm meter across the pins, put it in a glass of ice water, and it should read approx. 9,420 ohms. Then put it in boiling water and it should read about 177 ohms.

I doubt that anything hurt it, but its worth checking out.
