Victim crap? He was sent a piece of used $hit when he paid for a new product. Not only that, but he was apparently given an attitude from your 'best buddy' Dal. He has plenty of room to talk. You, on the other hand, have absoultely nothing better to do than to beg the guy to delete his thread out of one side of your mouth and call him names out the other.

His 'silly post' was simply warning others of what's happened. I'd do the same and by the looks of it, others will be going with Jason Cromer. I respect his choice to let us know what happened. If this would have happened to me, you bet I'd be making a thread warning others as well.

 

i almost received a core alternator from a leading parts company...found out when we compared it to the old one at the counter...back then with lifetime parts they made you keep the box and the receipt...stuff happens it's all about how they make it right...

 

Actually, Canton I never knew you could do that! i never even thought twice about peoples subheading saying supporting member. either way puting myself through college and being able to keep both cars makes it tough but now that i know i can support the site I will. I just saw it funny that you are so readily to criticize him and call him a clown for something any of us would be mad about. I sure know i was pissed when i got screwed on some parts, but ya know what the owners of those shops kept their cool and never yelled and what not. You could sense their anger but they kept it to themselves never to go as far as taking it out on a new customer. Ya know what I know that I for one would not have a problem with going to Dal since this is only ONE case of him not pleasing a customer. But customer service has two parts 1- getting good service (CORRECT service) to the buyer and 2-Creating a welcoming atmosphere so the customer will come back. well, who knows what has happened it seems like Dal gives the #1 but im not too sure about the #2 in THAT particular case. And because you spend 10 friggen dollars you are a "Better" person? I was simply making a joke about the avatar...

as for how you do things in "your shop" lets see if i can get it right
1 wash hands before i work on car
2 pull old part and set in drain bin
3 wash hands again
4 put new clean part on around all the other greasy things
5 wash hands again
6 pick up part to put in box
7 **** part was filthy got hands dirty so i gotta wash them again
8 open box
9 pick up part and place in box
10 go wash hands
11 close box and take back to parts to return as a core
what a joke!
now this is what happens in a shop
1 tech gets part from parts and sets it in his bay
2 tech pulls old part sets it down
3 tech installs new part
4 tech puts old part in box and closes it up
5 tech then removes gloves wheither it be rubber gloves or cloth(doesnt matter)
6 tech returns core to parts
7 tech washes hands to make sure he isnt greasy when he gets in customers car
8 tech then pulles car out of bay,parks it ,and gives service writer ticket to close and get customer gone

see the differance in what your saying happens and how it really goes?

we are all just coming to our own conclusions as to what happened..if anyone is a paranoid it would be the person that stated "the big bad dealership was out to screw him" before he even gave them a chance to do anything for him.

with that im done....this thread shouldnt have even been posted in the first place and is now 8 pages long,and has done nothing except tarnish the reputation of a good vendor that cant even defend themselves on here.
as stated before.he isnt my buddy, i dont no him or where he works.but he is getting bashed and nobody has even asked his side of the story...thats sad

i dont care where you shop at all...

what i do care about is how some people in here (you being one) say there is only one side of this to be on and how the dealership had to be in the wrong...thats not correct...thats an opinion

but because others in here (myself included) believe something else happend we are asses, paranoid, and drama queens

a drama queen is the one that started the thread before they even gave someone a chance to correct a situation ..and then continued to try to beat that vendors reputation into the ground

there is 2 sides to every story you happen to be on one side and i on the other...doesnt make either one of us bad..

good luck with your search for a vendor that gives you the right part 100% of the time and not out to get you....
