Pretty basic, yo just need the tools. Unbolt the front suspension from old kmember, unbolt motor from kmembner (have it sit on a jack). Bolt new Kmember to suspension, bolt motor to new kmember. Pretty basic

They SUCK.
He's obviously not a very good mechanic. I can get them done now in a day on jackstands. A lift would cut several hours of work IMO.

If you have the $ go for it.

I got the DRIVERS SIDE IN! WOOOHOOO! Had to grind the lip of the kmember off completely, jack the motor to its peak, and i shoved it the fzck in there. . Slip-fot doesnt want to slip, fit and the steering linkage doesnt want to go back on. oh well. at least I got it in. its 30 degrees out, so looks like i'm gonna try to finish tomorrow

Same thing we had to go through. 2 hours with a hacksaw.

In all honesty, though, its the K member being adjusted differently on each car, its not Jet Hot's fault.

spinner??? wtf kinda LT's do you have? i have FLP's and it took about 5 minutes to get the driver side in, all i had to do was loosen the metal loom, holding hte stock wires, just took out the back bolt and loosend the front and moved it, with a little positioning the header went right in, now on the passenger side, just the starter and alternator were taken off,.... i can see why everyone says theyre pains when you lift the motor, disconnect the steering, bang ****, grind ****...

If I didn't have all the crap I do on top of the motor (fuel lines, notrous system, water injection, etc.) I swear it might be easier to just drop the cradle and motor to change the plugs, let alone install headers. Two people, working with a lift and air tools, can drop the cradle in less than an hour after the wires, vacuum lines, fuel lines, radiator hoses, etc. are disconnected. I am not seriously suggesting it, it's just a comment on how GD hard these cars are to work on.

The two rims with more tread I'm going to burn off as soon as I can get these finished. IE: Play tires

The other two are getting 26x11.5x16 ET Streets for the strip around Xmas

Like Rich said, if you have access to a lift and air tools, drop the k-member and all to install headers. This is how we put Jet Hot LTs on a friend of mine's 95 TA. Had no problems whatsoever.
