Yes, you will have to change the plugs after you do a seafoam. If you have old plugs I would put those in to save yourself from having to put new plugs in again!

You can, it wont hurt anything. Just make sure you let them baby's cool off good before putting the new plugs back in. Also to make sure you got everything out of the motor you can turn the key while the plugs are out and if there is anything left in there it will come out of the spark plug holes, I'm not sure it you have to change your oil afterwards either but I would just in case. I haven't ever used seafoam. But I did hydrolock my car last year and these are the things I did to make sure I got all of the water out of the cylinders. This should apply similar to what you are doing. Good luck!!

Wow, Nelly......stop where you are and do a search. It is not necessary to change plugs afterwards. If anything you should be more worried about the O2's. Just do a search and you will have an overabundance of information.

There ya go, that should get you started. Let me put it this way, if you want to change out your plugs and O2's this is the time. Go ahead and seafoam and then proceed to change them. Since you are removing the O2's (good idea) then they should be good. But if you have a HIGH mileage LT1 then I would suggest replacing them as soon as you can. You'll notice a world of difference if they are old. You can do it with the Y-pipe removed but let it be known that it will FOG like no other. All that will probably end up in your cabin, so be ready. All in all, I wouldn't worry at all about the hydrolocking. I've done it every 10,000 miles or so since new. I'm at 163,000 miles with no engine troubles whatsoever. Good Luck !
