hub length

Just got my double keyed hub from Thunder. I'm sure they didn't use my hub, cause I sent it for a core charge refund some time after I placed the order.

But, like a bonehead , I forgot to measure my old hub before I sent it to them. While I did tell them I needed a 93 hub, I'd sure like to verify the size, before I give it to my machine shop and have them cut the matching keyways in the crank.

Can anyone tell me the correct lengths for the 93-95 hubs and 96-97 hubs? I've done searches and have only verified that there are 2 different length hubs for the lt1s - just didnt see anyone stating what those lengths were.

Thanks

Re: hub length

Thanks - suppose I've got the right one then - here's the measurements I took on the new one:

3-7/16" from end to end
3" from front face of the bolt holes to the rear of the hub
1-5/16" ID

Anyone have the measurements on a 96-97 hub for comparision sake?

Re: hub length

Time to resurrect. I'm in an exact same situation. I bought and balanced a keyed hub, but i'm not sure if it's the correct length for the Cloyes double-roller set up. The measured hub length is 3.130 from the hub opening to the hub face (the "ears"/ or mating point of the balancer. Is this the early or late style hub?

Cheers,
JD
