HPP w/Powerscan PC-Uplink Software
HPP w/Powerscan PC-Uplink Software
This is posted here because it's the most likely place
that someone with a HPP and Powerscan cartridge
will see the question.
Does anyone have the free PC-Uplink program that
Hypertech offered on their web site several years ago for
the Powerscan cartridge? It's probably a very basic MS DOS
program that lets you hook the HPP w/Powerscan up to
a parallel port on your PC and transfer data files. I called
Hypertech and the guy I talked to was kind of rude and
basically told me to go pound sand. My car is a 1997, but
the program probably works for all HPPs with the Powescan
cartridge.

Re: HPP w/Powerscan PC-Uplink Software
Sorry, I can't help you with the program, but seeing your comment about their customer service made me real upset. EVERY SINGLE time I EVER called them I got the EXACT same customer service you're describing.
I don't understand how they're making money or how they got where they are with that ASSY attitude of theirs....
Again, sorry about the rant, but you just stirred up some old memories.

I tend to agree with you Ion. Although I have had one good experience dealing with Hypertech, all the others were bad. It sucks that they can't
provide a copy of an old program that was supposed to be downloadable
and free. There are even some vendors that still sell the Powerscan. What
a crock.
