How to tell for sure if fuel pump is dead?

My buddies T/A won't start and i'm thinking its the fuel pump. I had him push the schrader valve and he said nothing came out. Is there another way to check, maybe disconnecting the filter or something?

There is a grey "test connector" near the PCM that allows you to run the fuel pump to test it. If it isn't running, could be a relay problem. In any case, if it does run, you need to check the pressure with a pressure gauge attached to the Schrader valve.

Shoebox's tech pages have info on the test connection and the relay.

Cool, thanks. So if I run 12volts to that connector and the fuel pump runs, that means.....relay problem?
