How to remove the crank timing gear?
I know there's a special tool for pulling the crank timing gear, but how would I do it if I don't have that tool? Does autozone or any other parts store carry something that would work?
How about reinstalling it?
Thanks.

Thanks.
Any parts store like autozone will have it. It looks like a puller for a steering wheel (3 prongs that wrap around the gear and pulls from the back).. The gear will come off alot easier than the crank hub did.... Use a threaded rod in the crank snout and a big socket to( push against the gear) or pipe fitting ,washers and a nut to reinstall it don't just hammer it on...
Thanks for the help guys.
I just started tearing the engine appart and was happy that my hub was very easy to take off. That's the good part.
The bad part:
broken IAC valve connector.
broken IAC valve
broke off a piece of timing cover on one of the dowel pins
ripped the pan gasket even though I unbolted the oil pan
The funny part is that it's not the first or second time I'm doing this...
