My power steeering fluid is leaking out onto the garage floor. I have a couple of nicks in the expanding boot/dust cover and it's coming out there. I have "fixed it a couple of times by using GOOP on the bbot but it gets old and starts leaking again. I have heard I might have bad bsuhing gaskets where the tierods go into the power steering unit. The dust covers houldn't have to hold power steering fluid only keep dust and water out.

Can these busings/seals be replaced? Is it a big job? I have new dust covers but should I dig deeper to solve the problem?
