How reliable would this setup be for a daily driver?
Looking at buying another 94 TransAm, but need to know how reliable this would be for a daily driver. Would this need constant repairs/work or pretty much as good as a normal F-bod?
These are the mods the car has:
383 ci, LT-1, procharger supercharger, stage l heads, 9.2:1 comp, 500+hp,Forged internals, built tranny, 28 injectors, 8 psi, full exhaust, 510/510 cam.
The car has 38k miles on it, not sure how many with these mods.
Any help is appreciated
Erik
Edit: The price he's asking is $9,000-seem like a good deal? Its black w/black leather and t-tops

If the engine has been built and tuned properly, it should be a reliable car. I would look into who short block was built by, and how the car was used. $9000 for a car like that, if it is good condition, is a very good price IMO. Good luck.
the setup itself is very reliable. If its done without care to detail, you can get a lot of headaches. Eg, if old gaskets are reused, or care is not taken to make sure everything is sealed when put back together, you can get leaks. Revving a lot on a stock timing chain and sprocket is also not good for it.
In short, the setup looks good on paper. My big concern is the injectors, it wont be hard to max them out with your setup, and worst case sceanario would be to lean out on high rpm and detonate. Obvisouly not a problem for daily driving.

Injector size may not be an issue.... depends how it adds the extra fuel. If it has an FMU to raise the fuel pressure proportional to boost, those injectors may be OK. Wouldn't hurt to check them with a dyno pull with a wide-band.
