ok guys help me out, I have the JE pistons catalog and in the back it has the CR calculator. Here are my number that im putting in and im getting around 11.5:1 CR. Are these numbers right?

CR= Swept Vol. + TDC Vol. / TDC Vol.

Swept Volume = 3.1416 x Bore(4.030) x Bore(4.030) x Stroke(3.75) / 4 = 47.83351

TDC Vol. = Cyl. Head Vol (3.355) + Gasket Vol. (.6601287) + Deck Vol. (.255112) + Piston Dish Vol (.305) = 4.5752407

Gasket Vol. = 3.1416 x Gasket bore (4.100)? x Gasket bore (4.100)? x Compressed gasket thickness (.050)? / 4 = .6601287

Deck Vol. = 3.1416 x Bore (4.030)x Bore (4.030) x Deck Clearence (.020) / 4 = .255112

Piston Volume = (-5) x -.061 = .305

Head Volume = cc's (54) x .061 = 3.294

(converting cc's to ci's by multiply cc's by .061)

All the numbers with parenthesis ( ) are the numbers i put in. The only ones i wasnt sure of was the Gasket Bore and Gasket thickness of the FEL-9966PT. Thats why i put a ? next to them. So if all is true and using the formula given here is what i got:

Swept Vol. (47.83351) + TDC Vol. (4.5752407) / TDC Vol. (4.5752407) = 11.45.1:1 CR!!!

Now im not sure if this is correct because like i said the gasket bore and thickness im not sure yet. I know this might be a little confusing with all the numbers but actually it gives me a challange! (always liked math! )
If you guys think i messed up anywhere let me know or if you KNOW THE FEL-9966PT gasket specs i would like to know so i could try the formula out again. Thanks guys
