Summit Racing and Thunder Racing both have it for $239.99. Just look up cams and its under Comp Cams "306".

Has anyone had any problems with their power brakes because of the lower vacuum w/this cam?

I think one of the other points of the step ramps on this cam is it may build more vacuum then some other cams. I can't complain about the loss in power brakes at all.

Thanks to everyone who posted, this greatly helped me in my decsion.
One more question, i am planning to buy the complete install kit from year one(yearone.com). It costs 749.99 out of the catalog. this is the k kit which includes rockers, lifters, springs, timing chain, and everything else needed to install a cam. Is there someplace i can get this cheaper?

http://www.cmotorsports.com/ contact these guys. Will probably save you $150-$200 on there kit. And from what people here on the board say, worth the price and then some.

Cam is mean as hell. With ported heads, stock stall, and hooker lt's I managed to spin them from a 20 roll or so and didn't really get any traction until 60 or around there. I know we hit 80 real quick even spinning and it's not even tuned yet. Early may is when it's being dynotuned, and I will post dyno/track results shortly after that. It sounds flat out MEAN!

I have the XE 230/236 in my car w/ the stock heads and I will be putting it on a dyno this saturday! I got a "tuned" chip for mine (93s had a chip not a PCM) but it runs PIG rich!! I leave clouds of black smoke if I rev it sitting still or launching. Not track times yet, but I will have dyno numbers this saturday! I'll post em up...

I have the XE 230/236 in my stroker and I love it.

Drives like a stock 350 during normal driving and screams like a banshee and pins you in your seat at WOT.

Another vote for Combinations Motorsports. Outstanding customer service.

I am about half way through my installation of the Xe230/236 cam.

Mine is custom ground on a 114LSA and my numbers are in the sig. M y heads are pretty much homeported, so a good set of ported heads and LT's should get me in the 390rwhp range.
