I was out to pick up the rest of the parts for the 95 vert Z28 im restoring. Well not the rest , but most of them. The front seats that the guy was able to get me were the wrong color ... It was previously his car you'd think he would know what color seats to buy on, he is a body man too so he coulda got the color codes for the interior ? ... Well neways, my interior is a dark (Like Charcoal colored) grey and a lighter grey. It is cloth. The car is black, if that has nething to do with Chevy's interior packaging and is a convertible. How do i no what the color code is for the interior ?

Im jsut worried because i cant drive the car yet to compare the seats shade for shade ... and i need to no if other year camaro's would have different shades of dark and light grey ... How can i get the interior code ? I dont want to buy power seats from a dealer , too expensive ...

 

You look at the RPO code sticker and find the code that ends in "I" or "B" (somtimes a C or D, too). For example: 12I = graphite interior trim and 12B = trim combination cloth graphite.

Pre-96 in the glove box.

96 and up on the driver's door jamb or door.

 

It will be labeled “SERVICE PARTS IDENTIFICATION”
