I have a 1986 z28 in some form of gray, does anyone know what the stock interior color is called? I need to replace the headliner, sail panels, maybe door panels, top dash, and at minimum the back carpet.

 

Without a pic to see, my guess is the color's name would be "Charcoal".

According to the Camaro White Book, the 1986 Camaro had 5 different interior colors: Black (Interior code 19), Copper (68), Gray (82), Red (72) and Saddle (62). The oddball is "Black Conteur", which was a black interior with gray cloth on the seats. That would be a code 19D or 19E.

On top of that, there were interiors with "custom cloth", "conteur custom cloth", "conteur standard cloth", "standard cloth", "standard vinyl", and "custom vinyl".

If you can find the full interior code, I can give you the complete description.

 

Well I hve pictures in that link right there, my dash is black, paneling is normal gray plastic color and seats are gray.

 

I have a Year One catalog that has picture of all the interior colors and the listings for what colors come with what year, so if you were going to replace it you would order "Med . Dk. Grey"
