I have an LT1 with an SBC intake and I've bought the 8.1L cam trigger. The cam trigger has a solid mounting point (doesn't swivel like a normal distributor). I'm going to be using this with a BS3 computer and a coil on plug setup. Heres a pic of someone else using a similar setup and I'm curious how they dialed in the cam sync. I also have a 24 tooth crank trigger that I will be using to emulate the LS1 trigger so I can use the LS1 style BS3. I believe the BS3 needs a certain amount of advance before TDC (I can figure that out) but how do I set that advance? Theres a few screws on top of the sensor that goes down the distributor hole and I'm wondering if I need to take that out to rotate the sensor's swing arm while its secured in the distributor hole. Any ideas on how to do this?
